Wow, I\'ve never heard of the other crime fighting magician show. But it looks old and not during my time but oh well. I also didn\'t know they canceled southland. I didn\'t really watch it but I did once and it was semi-descent.Thanks, Drew

I only just remember the Bill Bixby program, I remember liking it when I was a kid but watching the opening titles just now I didn\'t even recognize it.

Oh well, the new show they are talking about sounds so cheezy but who knows.... Most tv is rubbish if you ask me anyway lol

This concept is old as the hills. Mandrake in the comic books, oh excuse me, GRAPHIC NOVELS The Great BLACKSTONE, Magic detective, on the radio serials long before Television came along.

If it didn\'t have any merit, it would not keep soming back again and again in different incarnations. Maybe, just maybe this time they might get it right...If only they had some decent writers with SOME knowledge of both police work AND magic.
