Hello all.
My girlfriend got me volmes 1,2, & 3 of Paul harris's
"ART OF ASTONISHMENT."
For christmas.
These things are great. I alread had learned the coardboard connection. from the original manuscript we have on disply at the magic shop.
but I wanted to learn some of his other stuff like " twilight"
"the shape of astonishment" bizzare vanish" and "the cube" and a whole pile of stuff that I won't bother to mention here.
These things are well worth the 45 to 60 dollars each volume cost. They are roughly 350 to 400 pages per book. With some really funny writting pertaining to astonishing your audience.
Before I had asked back in September for these for christmas. I tried to get them through the Pa. inter-library loan system and they were not in the system.
I was glad for that in a way.
it makes the magic in them even more special since very few pple are going to be reading them and learning from them.
I'm posting this as a two thumbs up! for these three books.
Sorry for the long post.

Are the books worth the money ( how much detail do they go into? Are the tricks original and new?) Do you really use the tricks. Just wondering. Thanks very much for the review!, Drew
