I posted this here but, sadly, this is FAR more than just simple rumors...

The great MARTIN GARDNER passed away yesterday.
(Tulsa, october 21st 1914 – Norman, May 22nd 2010).
He will be sadly missed by all the Magic Comunity.

Yes, this is sad indeed, but at 95 years of age, a long magical life. Thanks Pier for posting. See also this link I found:
