Well, I guess I have been a little out of the loop and focused on other things, when I learned the Dr. Robert Albo had passed away at the age of 78 in late February 2011. He was known in the magic community as an author and collector and was also surgeon for the Oakland Warriors and Oakland Raiders.

His contribution to magic community will be permanently remembered in his writings in the Classic Magic Apparatus series of books which have archived much of the classic magic apparatus for generations that will follow.
