Magi Cube Ignition? was created by retired0903
I have a number of Magic Cube flash bulbs. These are self igniting.
Has anyone come across a simple design for an igniter using a paper clip? I have made one up myself but I am sure it could be improved.

Hope this will help.
This is the Flashcube patent link:

In the past I remember using a small trigger for Flashcube or for Magicube. It was sold as a magic item called "Camera Bug".
It was a small metal "L" shape with a welded rivet to fit a little bit tight in the hole of the Magicube. Once fitted on the Magicube, all you had to do to trigger the flash was to squeeze the Camera Bug.
Instead of a welded rivet you could use a screw to fit the hole of the Magicube.
Note: the width of the "L" shape metal must fit the slot trigger of the Magicube or Flashcube.

I am not very familiar with the magic cube or the flashcube. What are they and what is the effect? Is it an exploding lightbulb? Thanks Drew
