Michael Jackson is getting ready for his London residency and apparently has lots of theatrics planned including illusions. Jackson was in talks with David Copperfield who apparently wanted $1 million per show, but this was too much for Jackson's pocketbook. It is then reported that Jackson had hired Criss Angel to perform with him in London. Now it is former"Saved by the Bell" actor and magcian, Ed Alonzo who is teaming up with Jackson.

A 26 year old lady magician and mind reader, only known as Amila, tried to escape from a water tank on live TV but nearly drowned in the attempt. The show is a German reality program where magicians and mentalists try to become "The Next Uri Geller." The contestant was placed in a glass tank of water which slowly filled with water.

The FBI is investigating a claim by a Syracuse, NY magician, Wade Whitcomb, that he shipped himself via the United Parcel Service (UPS) to Las Vegas. This stunt was to promote a friends new website but UPS doesn't believe their claim saying the odds that is happened are "almost nil."
A Copperfield assistant, known only so far as Brandon, was accidentally pulled into the vortex of the 12-foot industrial fan just prior to Copperfield attempting to walk through it. There were severe injuries to his arm and face which required extensive surgery.
