Has anyone ever performed this trick for an audience? I was just wondering what the reaction is. You see these more as collectors pieces than performance items. Just curious...

Am a new member and am just browsing through the Magic Apparatus section as I have been in the profession since about 1950 and a professional performer since 1975. I cannot identify the picture but I wonder if the prop is otherwise named The Devil\'s Cabinet or Ghost Cabinet ? If so, I have performed it. Not very effectively, I\'m afraid. I had not done cabaret for decades and I included it in my children\'s show. I elicited only a moderate reaction and ultimately took it out of my act.

Coincidentally within the past week I was reconsidering re-introducing it. But this time it would go into my \'Harry Potter\' presentation, where I deal with older audiences. You\'ll find good presentations on U-Tube if it is Devil\'s Cabinet.
