Keith Barry, an Irish mentalist and close-up magician, was performing at his limited engagement at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on November 5th.  In the audience was magician Criss Angel, who was enjoying a day off from his Believe show at the nearby Luxor.  Angel was accompanied with Playboy next-door model, Holly Madison, and 2 bodyguards.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, after approximately 25 minutes into the show, Angel abruptly left with his entourage.  As they were leaving, Barry verbally acknowledged Angel's departure: "I’d like to give a shout out to Criss Angel, who is in the house, in fact he’s just leaving."

According to Steve Flynn, an Angel spokesman, Angel's girlfriend Madison was not feeling well and they had stuck it out for 20 minutes before leaving.

Apparently, no apology was ever tendered from Angel even through Angel and Barry where at the premiere of "Repo! The Genetic Opera." the next night and nearly cross-paths.  This incident is apparently not first encounter between Angel and Barry.  In a radio interview back in May 2008, Barry explained that he had tried to fight Angel but "couldn't get at him." In the same interview, Barry characterized Angel as a "real nasty guy."
