Ultimate Okito Addendum by Robert Albo has Arrived

The latest volume from prolific magic apparatus author, Robert Albo, has just arrived in my mail box. This is the supplemental book to the Ultimate Okito volume published in green cloth to match the original Ultimate Okito and includes one additional DVD of the effects being performed.

 

The book is slightly over 100 pages and the pictures are absolutely great. It is a combination of historical information and tricks with great shots of some apparatus not captured in any of the previous Albo books.

Albo is also currently working on a companion publication, Ultimate Thayer, which is due out in early 2009. It is expected to be of similar format as the Ultimate Okito books. For more information, visit the Classic Magic Series website.

I also have very much enjoyed all of the Albo series by getting a chance to see pictures and with the latest books see some of the pieces presented. What a great history lesson as well as learning the mechanics of the devices. Understanding the evolution of the boxes, pans helps the creativity for the next stage of props.
